THE FOLLOWING ARE BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO FIND AND READ THE SCHEDULE

1) CLICK ON "SCHEDULES" ON THE LEFT SIDE MENU AS YOU WOULD TO FIND A REGULAR SEASON GAME.

2) CLICK ON THE BOX THAT SAYS "ALL GAMES" ON THE TOP LEFT SIDE OF THE PAGE.

3) A DROP DOWN MENU WILL APPEAR WITH THE WORDS REGULAR, PLAYOFF ROUND ONE, SEMI FINALS, AND FINALS.

4) CLICK ON THE ROUND YOU WISH TO VIEW.

5) TO VIEW ONLY YOUR DIVISIONS SCHEDULE CLICK ON THE "ALL DIVISION" BOX AND LOCATE YOU DIVISION ON THE DROP DOWN MENU AND 
CLICK ON YOUR DIVISION

6 ) TO VIEW ONLY YOUR TEAMS SCHEDULE CLICK ON "ALL TEAMS" BOX AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS ABOVE
 

PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT JUST LIKE THE REGULAR SEASON PERMITS ARE VERY RARE.
WE HAVE LEFT SOME PERMITS OPEN FOR POSSIBLE MAKE UP GAMES FOR RAIN OUTS. PLEASE DO NOT ASK TO HAVE DATES CHANGED  AS WE CAN NOT ACCOMMODATE REQUESTS FOR ANY REASON.

THE FOLLOWING IS A BRIEF DISCRIPTION OF THE 2010 BNAI BRITH SOFTBALL PLAYOFFS

Coaches,

The playoff schedule will be posted on the website in the coming days. However, many teams have been inquiring as to the format of the playoffs so here is a brief summary. Every team makes the playoffs

1st round - Round Robin

2nd round - Semi finals best of 3

3rd round - finals best of 3

If your division is a:

- 6 team division: each team is seeded 1-6 and will each play a 3 game round robin. At the end of the round robin the top 4 records will move on to the semi-finals with reseeding occuring at the end of the round robin.

- 7 team division: the 7 teams will be broken up in to 2 brackets based on record. One bracket will be a 4 team bracket and the other a 3 team bracket. The top 2 records in each bracket will move on to semi-finals with reseeding occuring at the end of the round robin.

- 8 team division: the 8 teams with be broken up in to two 4-team brackets. The top 2 records in each bracket will move on to the semi-finals with reseeding occuring at the end of the round robin.

- 9 team division: the 9 teams will be broken up in to 2 brackets based on record. One bracket will be a 5 team bracket and the other a 4 team bracket. The top 2 records in each bracket will move on to semi-finals with reseeding occuring at the end of the round robin.

- 10 team division: the 10 teams with be broken up in to two 5-team brackets. The top 2 records in each bracket will move on to the semi-finals with reseeding occuring at the end of the round robin.

After the round robin has taken place, each division will be left with 4 teams. Those 4 teams will be seeded 1-4. 1 will play 4 and 2 will play 3 in a best of 3 games series. The two winners of these series will play in the finals in a best of 3 games series to determine the division winner.

B’nai Brith
is proud to run one of the largest organized softball leagues in all of Southern Ontario. The league was originated in 1961 and is mainly lodge affiliated. The B’nai Brith Softball League runs from May to September and consists of various competitive levels of Modified Softball and Slo-pitch Softball.

This year we are pleased to announce many positive changes.
